Dr. Mandeep C Saini is the data controller for the information described here, operating from the United Kingdom. You can reach him through the contact form, which is the route for any question or request about your data.

When you book a consultation. Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your timezone, anything you write in the notes, and the birth details needed to cast a chart: the date, time and place of birth of each person the reading concerns. You do not need an account to book.

When you sign in with Google. Your name, email address, profile picture and the account identifier Google issues. You are then asked for a phone number and the country you live in, which are needed to run the consultation and to settle tax on anything sold to you. Google does not give this site access to your Gmail, contacts, files or anything beyond your basic profile.

When you pay. Card details are handled entirely by the payment provider and never reach this site. What comes back is a reference, an amount and whether it succeeded.

When you write in. Whatever you put in the contact form or in feedback after a session.

• To provide the consultation you booked. Name, contact details, timezone and birth details. The legal basis is performance of a contract with you.
• To send confirmations and reminders about a session you have booked, one the day before and one an hour before. Also contract. These are not marketing and you cannot be opted out of them while a booking stands.
• To keep proper records of sales, refunds and tax. The legal basis is a legal obligation.
• To send marketing about writing, courses, talks or offers. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking a box that is never ticked for you. Booking a session or creating an account is not consent, and is never treated as such.
• To keep the site working and secure, including preventing double bookings and abuse. The legal basis is legitimate interests.

Birth date, time and place are the working material of an astrological reading and are stored with the booking they belong to. They are not used for anything else, are not shared with anyone outside the services listed below, and are not used to build any profile of you. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time.

A consultation is not medical, legal or financial advice, and nothing you are told in one should be taken as a diagnosis or as a recommendation to act against professional advice.

These are service providers acting on instructions. None of them is permitted to use your information for their own purposes, and your data is never sold.

• Vercel, which hosts the site.
• Supabase, which hosts the database where bookings and accounts are stored.
• Resend, which delivers confirmations, reminders and any email you have consented to.
• Google, for the calendar entry and video link for your session, for sign in if you use it, and for Google Analytics.
• Stripe, PayPal or Dodo Payments, whichever handles your payment.

Some of these operate outside the United Kingdom. Where information leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

Only a few, and none of them advertising cookies. A cookie keeps you signed in if you have an account, another protects the sign in process from being tampered with and lasts ten minutes, and another keeps the administrator signed in. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits and show which pages are read.

Booking and payment records are kept for six years after the tax year they fall in, which is the period UK tax law requires. Account details are kept while the account exists. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe, and every marketing email carries a link to do so. Anything no longer needed for these purposes is deleted.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask for its use to be restricted, object to its use, and ask for it in a portable form. Where the basis is consent you can withdraw that consent at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything done beforehand.

Ask through the contact form. There is no charge and you will have a response within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how a request was handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Where a change materially affects how your information is used, you will be told directly rather than left to notice.
