Preparation
What to bring.
- The child's date, time, and place of birth.
- Their current stage of education and the choice that is coming up.
- What you have already noticed about how they learn, which the chart can then be read against.
What this is not
A chart indicates tendency, not ceiling. This reading is not an assessment of ability, not an educational diagnosis, and should never be used to close a door to a child who wants to walk through it.

About this consultation.
- How young is too young?
- The chart can be read at any age, but the session is most useful when a real educational choice is approaching, which for most families is from around age eleven onward.
- Should my child be on the call?
- Usually not, and by default the session is with the parent. An older teenager who wants to be there and understands what is being discussed is welcome.
- What if the reading says something we do not want to hear?
- It will be said plainly and framed as tendency rather than limit. A chart showing that a subject will take more effort is not a chart saying the subject is closed.
